Dear Richmond Hospital Medical Staff,

At our Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 16, a motion was passed to consolidate MSA dues into a single category.  All RH MSA members—regardless of privilege status—will pay one annual fee of $175 for the 2026–2027 year.

Why this change:

  • Simplifies administration and improves fairness by having one dues category for all members.
  • Aligns with VCH Medical Staff Rules that require annual dues payment at your primary site.
  • Supports continued RH MSA engagement activities and representation for our 500+ medical staff and locums.
What happens next:
  • The motion was announced and voted on at the AGM on Sept 16, 2026
  • Motion is passed that all members of Richmond Hospital Medical Staff members will pay annual membership dues of $175 for 2026-2027.

As stated in the VCH Medical Staff Rules, Active, Provisional, and Associate Staff, Midwife, and Nurse Practitioner are required to pay annual staff dues at their primary site only. 

Dues are $175 for all medical staff. The payment deadline is Oct 31st, 2026.
To be eligible to claim FEMS funding, members must have paid MSA dues.
If you are NOT paying at Richmond Hospital and have paid your dues elsewhere, please complete the Primary Elsewhere Form.
A receipt for payment will be emailed to you once you have completed the online payment.
