“This committee involved physicians at Richmond Hospital with research interests. Engagement was achieved through meetings and workshops focused on developing and improving research skills. With the help of the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute, research activities have increased over the past couple of years. The Research Showcase in December 2019 illustrated this increase with multiple Richmond physicians presenting research projects conducted at Richmond Hospital. With increased support from Vancouver Coastal Health and the Richmond Hospital Foundation, we believe research activities are moving in the right direction.
