The Bariatric Registry is now complete. Patients referred for bariatric surgery are entered into an online registry. EMR capability has been added to the registry to provide remote access to patient data to all bariatric team members: dietitians, OT, admin support, psychiatrist, internists, and surgeons. New EMR tools were developed to facilitate virtual group orientation visits and streamline bariatric team workflow during the pandemic.

The Bariatric Registry has received approval by VCH patient privacy officials and is awaiting further approval by management for usage by VCH allied health employees.
