How do we discuss end-of-life care with patients’ cultural and social context in mind?\n– Our workshop will feature a 20-minute presentation by Dr. Amrish Joshi, palliative care physician at Richmond Hospital and Lara Musa, Regional Clinical Educator. They have conducted research on increasing cultural knowledge and sensitivity in palliative care services. They will share the findings of a qualitative study on Advanced Care Planning in South Asian communities.\n– In this discussion, we will explore the discussion of death and care in different cultural and social contexts.
